Make peace not war

Then this morning, listening to the Italian radio over the web, I heard about the celebration for the 50th anniversary of the Rome Treaty, which was the base upon which the European Union was founded.
Europe has never been wealthier than today, and all this happened thanks 50 years of peace, where countries which tried to destroy each other now only a few decades ago, are now sharing the same laws, the same money and the same values.
Here's the other way :-)
America will continue to wage war, it has to - it makes too much money from War. Its baked into our country's DNA.The post seemed to imply that war is necessary to maintain the lifestyle of this country. It's a very disturbing point of view.
