Funny coincidence: Matt today is looking for a compass. Last weekend I found my compass at home and dropped it in my backpack thinking that it might turn more useful anywhere outside my home, and yesterday I did use it in Milano to find my way home. Not exactly high thech but cheaper than satnav :-)
